Okie, so I got a squad now! It's been slow and all but I believe after getting comfortable and more confident in painting marines, I can speed up for the rest of the unit! With the new IG codex coming up and all the new juicy models, I best speed up now.
Comments are welcomed thanks!
Inner fluff monkey says: the studded shoulders traditionally are on the opposite side, since thats the side that usually required less protection, so they got the easier to produce, but less effective, studded pad.
ReplyDeleteAnd now Ill go kick his butt for being a nuisance and say very nice looking squad! I love all the free hand!
I did notice that the studded ones are mostly on the left, only after I painted them! But yeah, that's a logic to it. Learn something new everyday!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm on to my next 5 and will be sure to get it right! Thanks!
I personally like a darker blue for Ultramarines, but those look really really good. Your free hand painting is quite good and really adds to the models. Job well done sir.
ReplyDeleteThe freehand is excellent, especially on the sergeant's jump-pack.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is that those are some damn fine looking Ultras! Well done sir, well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the kind words guys. More to come!
ReplyDeleteThese are some brilliantly painted miniatures! Im going to follow from now on! Check out my blog if you like at cadian8th.blogspot.com
