Nice looking guardsman. I think the camo works well, although have you tried going without camo on the lasgun? A full platoon of these guys will look sweet.
Really nice work, clean effective scheme, I persoanlly like the camo on the gun. the work on the cloth hoever looks a bit rougher than the work on the armour in the pic i can see. is the lighter paint you used a little chalky or dry? did you drybrush rather than paint those bits. I am thinking of the model's right knee especially.

Newly painted Guardsmen for my IG army! This is of couse just a test paint and still finding ways for improvement!
